This song deals with the feeling that, for lack of a better word, I have named “blind confidence.” This is the kind of confidence that must be influenced by some outside factor which makes the person feel unnaturally powerful or motivated. Examples of this would be anger, excessive drinking, or passion. However, blind confidence can only sustain itself for so long. The piece ends with a big falling out to represent the come-down from that high. This helps differentiate it from “God Factory,” which has a very similar feel of energy and confidence, but with different motivations.
